Shenoa Rose Williams is employed as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner with the Child Advocacy Center at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. Her role is divided between performing abuse evaluations and serving as a primary care provider in the Advocacy Resources for Children (ARCH) Clinic for families who are CYF active or living in temporary housing.  Supporting families in a nonjudgmental manner to minimize stressors and thereby decrease the risk of child maltreatment is the aim of the ARCH Clinic. This prevention-focused care is intrinsic to the foundation of nursing practice.
