Received Associate’s Degree from Harrisburg Area Community College and Bachelor of Science Degree from Southern New Hampshire University. Certificates of completion in Adult/Adolescent and Pediatric Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner from Marshall University in Huntington West Virginia.

Certified by the International Association of Forensic Nursing in Adult/Adolescent (SANE-A) since 2008 and Pediatric Certified (SANE P) since 2009. Certified as a Forensic Nurse (CFN) through the American College of Forensic Examiners since 2016. Certified Trauma Nursing (TNCC) since 2016. Certified Handler through Therapy Dog International since 2014. Expert testimony in Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, and Perry counties.

Emergency Department Registered Nurse for Geisinger Holy Spirit from 1995 to 2017. While at Holy Spirit was instrumental in starting the SANE program and Cumberland County Sexual Assault Team both in 2007. Beginning in March 2017 became full-time Pediatric Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner at Geisinger Child Advocacy Center in Sunbury.      

Lynn is a member of the International Association of Forensic Nurses, American College of Forensic Examiners, National League of Nurses and Therapy Dog International.

Lynn provides community education to law enforcement, social services, and medical personnel on child sexual abuse. While at Holy Spirit presented lectures to hospital staff and SART team on child abuse, elder abuse, photo-documentation after an assault and dog/animal bite prevention and documentation. Presented at the PA Organization of Nurse Leaders Annual Conference on Violence in the Workplace.
